The perspective

Distinctive by design.
Clear by intention.

An idea needs more than a striking surface. It needs a message worth noticing, a deliberate hierarchy and a next action that feels natural. Those essentials should remain clear as the format changes.

A square advert, a tall placement and a wide banner each create different opportunities. Explore how composition supports the message, then define the concepts, adaptations and delivery files your brief needs.

The ingredients / Before the layout

A clear brief gives
the idea direction.

Offer & audience
Describe what is being promoted, who it is for and why it might matter to them. Include the destination the advert should lead to.
Message & evidence
Identify the main point, the desired action and support for any factual claims. Separate approved wording from ideas still to discuss.
Production or adaptation?
Explain whether you have a finished concept to resize or need to discuss new copy, imagery or a layout. Agree the concept, formats and deliverables before production begins.

The practical details / Before production

Bring the assets.
Check the permissions.

Great creative needs the right source material. Gather the original files and confirm where, how and for how long each asset can be used.

Which files are ready?

Collect current logo files, approved copy, original images and relevant brand guidance. Explain what is editable and which elements must stay unchanged.

Where can they be used?

Note known permission limits for images, typefaces and other source material, including placements, geography and duration. Resolve any uncertainty before production so the final work is ready for its intended placement.

Who approves the final version?

Identify a decision-maker and agree the format list, usage, delivery files, edit process and approval responsibilities. Set the review process, budget and delivery dates around that agreed scope.
